Can I live in Springfield and work in Eugene?+

Yes. Downtown to downtown is about 10–15 minutes. Drive it at the hour you will actually go. A Saturday tour will not show Tuesday Beltline.

Is Thurston a good place to buy?+

If you want a yard, newer product, and Springfield schools, it is the pocket families type. It is not south Eugene. Read the Thurston guide before you assume the view.
