As of October 4, 2026, the city says Amazon's recreation and family swims have ended for the year. The posted fall lap-swim and fitness schedule continues through October 30, the announced final day of the season.
Check the current schedule before leaving. Special events and modified hours can affect individual sessions. “Open May through October” describes the general season; it does not mean every activity is offered every day throughout those months.
What the facility includes
The city's facility description lists three pools, two water slides, a diving platform, a hot tub, and sand play. It also identifies changing facilities, showers, restrooms, and parking.
Those features explain why the pool supports several different kinds of visits. Someone coming for an exercise session may need a very different time slot from a group hoping to use the recreation features.
When planning a visit around a particular amenity, ask whether it operates during your chosen session. A feature shown in a summer photograph is not a promise that it will be available during a fall lap swim.
Swim lessons and registration
The city's swim-lesson page explains its programs and connects to registration. Choose the appropriate age group and session, then verify the location shown in the booking details.
For fall 2026, the published lesson page identifies Echo Hollow and Sheldon pools. Do not assume that a lesson listed under Eugene Aquatics takes place at Amazon.
